BYLAWS OF THE OUTSIDERS R.V. CLUB
Section l (1)
Name, Color & Limits:
A. This Club shall be known by the name THE OUTSIDERS R.V. CLUB
B. The Club color is MAROON AND WHITE
C. The number of families accepted as members shall be limited to THIRTY-TWO (32) FAMILIES
Section ll (2)
Duties of the Club:
Legislation, which includes all matters pertaining to its internal affairs, to plan outings and entertainment for its members
Section lll (3)
Officers:
The officers of The Outsiders R.V. Club shall consist of:
President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and such other appointed officers as the Club may deem proper and necessary. To be eligible for office, person shall be a member a minimum of 3 years. Spouses or domestic partners of members same household shall not concurrently hold office.
Section IV (4)
Duties of the President:
A. Chair all regular meetings and call meetings.
B. May call special or emergency meetings for the good of the Club.
C. Term in office limited to two (2) successive terms. A term is one calendar year. After a standby year a person is eligible to hold office again.
D. Coordinate the annual Holiday event in December. The annual event is typically held the second Thursday through Sunday every December.
E Signs off on the annual IRS Tax documentation. (IRS document 990x) to maintain tax exemption non-profit 501(C)(7) status.
Duties of the Vice-President:
A. Fulfills duties of the President in his/her absence.
B. Coordinate summer Roll-Outs (Section XVII).
C. Oversees the distribution of requests for copies of the Club’s official documents.
Duties of the Secretary:
A. Record the minutes at all Club meetings.
B. Inform the members of the Clubs activities.
C. Petty cash in the amount of $20.00 is to be placed in the hands of the Secretary for the expenditures pertaining to that office.
This money is to be maintained as a working capital.
D. Acts as back-up for Treasurer in his/her absence.
E. Works with Treasurers on EOY financial report to prepare the annual Tax Return (IRS 990x) to maintain tax exemption, non-profit 501(C)(7) status.
F. Prepare and submit state documents notification of officers, agents and address changes including SI-100.
G. Receives and fulfills written requests for copies of the Club’s official documents, including financial reports, bylaws, and other material as governed by state and federal laws.
Duties of the Treasurer:
A. Receive and dispense all monies of the Club
B. Dispense Club funds upon the presentation of a qualified receipt signed by member.
C. Maintain an accurate account ledger of all funds received and disbursed.
D. Provide a verbal monthly financial report at Club meetings.
E. Works with Secretary to provide annual financial report including requirements for filing of annual IRS 990x documentation and completing financial audit.
